Hawkins UMC Mission Statement The mission of our local congregation is to develop disciples of Jesus Christ and send them out to serve in the community and the world.
Last Sunday's Sermon: October 23, 2016 - Why Does Baptism Matter - Rev. Sally Bevill
Sunday, October 30 is Commitment Sunday.
There will be a Pig Roast and potluck meal after the worship service. Methodist Men will provide the meat and drinks.
Please bring a side dish to augment the meat (and one to share), such as salads, vegetables, casseroles, bread and desserts.
Join us Wednesday, October 26!
The Pierce Family will share with us God’s calling in their lives to serve in Jinja, Uganda with Amazima Ministries. They will join us during our Wednesday night R&R activities beginning with supper at 5:30 p.m. followed by the program at 6:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall.
Come share a meal, listen to their amazing story, and find out how you can get involved!
9:15 for all ages in the education wing and the abundant life center
10:30 Worship Service in the sanctuary
Come worship with us! There is a place for you!
We would like to personally invite you to come and see what God is up to here at Hawkins through joining us for worship and other special events that we offer throughout the week and the year. Being disciples of Jesus Christ means that we take seriously our role as ambassadors for Christ in the world around us, and we believe that God gives us all a special gift to share with the body of believers.
We hope the information you find here is helpful to visitors and to our members alike. If we can help you in any way, please contact us by phone or email. There is a place here for you! May God bless you today and every day!
